Summit Aviation Maintenance really helped me out of a bind. I was a transient and landed and noticed oil leaking from the prop of my Cessna. Chris jumped on it right away. We had the new seal I needed Uber’d from Tulsa and Tyler pulled my prop while the Uber was on the way and then after the seal arrived had me back up in the air in 3 hours! And Tyler also did a great job cleaning all of the oil off my prop and off my cowling. Summit Aviation Maintenance was a life saver! Thanks again Chris and Tyler!

We haven't taken lessons here, but we stopped in with our young kids after playing at the playground. The staff were very friendly and the kids loved getting to see the planes, helicopter, and ride the small pedal planes! It's a beautiful spot to visit.

As someone who has been around Aviation in NWA since before Summit came into business, I’ve seen them grow into what they are today. Also, as someone who as spent tens of thousands of dollars with this company on my Aviation career, I can definitely say the treatment I received in recent months is appalling to say the least. This operation is definitely money hungry and extremely focused on pumping you for every dollar they can take. The spirit of Aviation is clearly being overshadowed by the greed of people. After watching how these aircraft get treated by “pilots”, including the fact there have been multiple accidents due to poor pilotage; (one of which resulted in a totaled airplane) makes a person concerned. The treatment that the staff (employees and instructors) administers is very clique-minded— so if you aren’t a part of that, prepare yourself to feel like an outcast. The instructors have a hard time showing up for appointments or canceling for no reason. I found out later some of these instructors are moonlighting in different aircraft to build hours; nothing wrong with which career move you make but is this why they don’t put full attention into their work with students? They path I see is much like Drake Aviation did years ago; too bad people these days care more about money, fame, and popularity than about the real reason us true pilots are involved in the sport. I know great people involved in and around this community, but leadership is key and when that is flawed, the rest will waiver and fall. As a business owner, I know what reputation means and how important it is, I also know how important customers and their satisfaction is to that success. Keep the blue side up (most of the time).

We had a project in the area with one of our helicopters and called ahead since we have never been there and possibly need hanger space for the night. We didn't need the space but everyone was more than willing to get us in a spot if needed. The line crew is very professional and will go out of there way to help with anything you need. The Fieldhouse/FBO is by far one of the NICEST facilities I have ever seen in my life. Nothing even comes close really. The Summit Aviation Team does it right and our company couldn't have asked for a better experience. Can't wait to be back! Thanks again, Crew from 5TV
