I just passed my instrument checkride and I have PIC and instructor Rick to thank. From the support in the office during the planning stage to the onsite instruction, everything was professional and no detail was overlooked. They made sure the airplane, my logbook, and myself were all ready to go when training began, no surprises due to an overlooked inspection or requirement. Even my DPE on checkride day didn’t need to spend much time hunting for things and remarked that “these guys do a great job.” There was a snowstorm locally and a few days passed before we could fly, but I had some valuable lessons on the sim on those days which translated well in the airplane after the runway was cleared. Rick went above and beyond to give me confidence in every area, he has a lot of experience in an SR22 and was able to teach me about my Perspective + avionics as well as old school hand flying techniques. PIC and Rick get my unqualified endorsement.

I recently completed my instrument training with Bob as my instructor, and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Bob is extremely knowledgeable, patient, and genuinely invested in making sure you understand the why behind every procedure. His instruction made the entire process smooth and confidence building, I can't say enough good things about him as an instructor. The owner, Donn, runs an excellent operation, professional, organized, and clearly committed to creating a top tier training environment. Thanks to both of them, I was fully prepared and passed my instrument check ride with ease. I would highly recommend PIC to anyone looking to get their instrument rating!

My experience with PIC training exceeded my expectations! It started with excellent communication from their staff, with attention to detail to make sure that all the arrangements were in place for my training, which included an effective lesson plan and efficient scheduling. My instructor’s technical knowledge was “real world”, not just book learning. It was beneficial to learn from someone with his experience and depth of knowledge. His teaching style and expertise prepared me for my successful check ride. I highly recommend PIC!

I recently completed my instrument rating with the help of PIC and I highly recommend the program. I worked with a local instructor to set a foundation for the my instrument training and then utilized the finisher course to receive tailored instruction for my aircraft and "tighten the screws" in preparation for my checkride. This course was a great fit for me because I could block off a few days from work and train from my home. This allowed me the focused time for the final push toward completing my rating. Without this course, it would have taken me significantly longer to achieve my instrument rating. My instructor, Walter, was an experienced instructor with thousands of hours in my aircraft type. I especially appreciated how he didn't follow a syllabus verbatim, but instead assessed my knowledge and experience on Day 1 to create a customized training plan for our week together. This allowed for efficient training. Walter was also mindful of my personal obligations and we were able to schedule our training in a way that still allowed me to keep my family-life in order such as allowing me the ability to drop off and pick up my kids from school.
