SRT Aviation is amazing. They had tie downs ready and their staff was extremely helpful. I had to divert and they were there to help. I hope to return again. Just amazing people.

Update: Thanks to SRT Aviation in Mt Vernon for doing great work. I scheduled a fly-in oil change and a couple of other items to be accomplished, and while doing the oil change they noticed that my fuel strainer was leaking. They had the overhaul kit on hand and fixed it while I waited. I was still airborne by noon, plus had the opportunity for a great breakfast at the Bonnie Cafe while I waited.

Shawn and his staff do a tremendous job with all aspects of aircraft maintenance. They take excellent care, of both the customer and the aircraft. Service is prompt, friendly and thorough.

I have learned that SRT Aviation isn't quite as it seems. New employees with zero experience are allowed to work on aircraft with little or no training or supervision. The daily safety checks for inspecting and transporting fuel are rarely carried out, but are documented as if they had been done properly.
