I got my license here. They were good to work with, professional, and also friendly. The instructor I worked with was very knowledgeable and stuck with me, making sure I felt safe and confident flying at all times. Cushing Airfield has a beautifully maintained grass runway. They are one of the few Sport Pilot schools in the Chicago area that is not under the Ohare airspace, so I highly recommend you check them...

All the instructors here are top notch and care, very well ran flight school, Larry that runs the program does a top notch job on maintenance. There is no corners cut and concerns with the aircraft are immediately rectified. Really do appreciate everyone that helped get my certification. If this is local for you, wouldn’t hesitate!!
