I recently went flying with Michael Gaines to get current with my private pilot license, and the experience was excellent from start to finish. He was extremely thorough and made the entire process feel seamless and stress-free. He’s also very fast to reply, which made scheduling and coordinating flights incredibly easy. His pricing is fair, and he’s incredibly kind, patient, and helpful throughout every step. He previously worked at the flight school I trained with and now operates his own business out of the same airport, which made coordinating everything easy. He’s honest, knowledgeable, and truly prioritizes safety and quality instruction. I highly recommend him to anyone looking for a dependable and experienced instructor.

Since I started flight school with Michael he has been able to adjust and adapt to whatever it takes to teach me. He has a reassuring and supportive way of teaching. Michael excels at prioritizing safety as well as proper procedures, throughout his exemplary, professional instruction. The drive he has to ensure pilot knowledge is evidenced and facilitated by his patience and easy-going nature, great interpersonal communication skills, and a broad, encompassing knowledge base. This knowledge he imparts to students with a passion. He teaches a free ground school in which he explained he feels a "duty" and a responsibility to give his students 100 percent in order to aid in comprehension of study materials and flight lessons. He certainly has superior teaching skills, even for a "rusty" older pilot like myself. He will make returning pilots feel at ease. You know you are getting the best tutelage.
