I started back into flying recently and looked at just about every school in Maine. I tried some flights at some and just went in to tour and talk to the instructors at others. Many pushed off the times to meet or answered the questions with what exactly I wanted to hear. Gave prices that were probably obtainable by some but not the reality for most. My son just did a Discovery flight with Danielle . He had the best time!! Danielle was super nice and very informative about everything that was happening. I highly recommend Northwoods Air!

My daughter had an excellent experience on the discovery flight.. The instructor made her feel very comfortable and she decided that she wants to learn how to fly.

I had started my flight training in Ohio, battling with some training issues I reached out to Cody at Northwoods Air. I relocated from Kentucky to Maine where their instructors were able to teach me what I needed to know to pass my checkride! I highly recommend Northwoods Air Academy flight school. Cody has been an amazing teacher and mentor. The planes are top notch and kept in great flying condition. Anytime a plane has any issue it’s immediately taken into maintenance and repaired so it’s back in the air very quickly. There are two very good maintenance guys on staff full time.
