Best Flight School and Airport you will find. I trained here for Commercial and CFI, and then worked here as a CFI. Rick and Joe, the owners, are some of the most skilled pilots you will find, and furthermore some of the kindest people there are out there. GBR instructors have real IFR experience, airline experience, and 1000s of hours of instruction given. GBR is also one of the extremely rare airports that treats their CFIs fairly. They pay them fairly, and they get dedicated days off. That means they are happy and rested to train you to fly! Look no further, go to GBR, get your training. This place is the real deal.

This is a great airport with friendly pilots and employees. Their pilot training program is top notch and they have several different services available for everyone. Chexk them out if you've ever wanted to learn how to fly or take a scenic flight to see beautiful berkshire county!

i flew my J3 from Alabama to New Hampshire in May 2017 and got weathered in here for a day. These folks were wonderful by loaning an airport car and calling the hotel getting a special rate arranged. The chief pilot/flight instructor is a knowledgeable lady and I was impressed with her professionalism. The townsfolk were very friendly too. I'd love to live and fly out of here!

I got my private pilot license there.. Such a wonderful little airport. very friendly staff, and very nice instructors. A very interesting mix of people fly in there. I appreciated learning in the calm atmosphere of a small field. It made all my practice and studies enjoyable.
