Malcolm and the entire staff at Plum Island Flight School are truly exceptional. I booked a flight lesson as a surprise for my husband’s birthday, and Malcolm went above and beyond from the very first moment. It genuinely felt like he was co-planning the surprise with me — making every detail special, thoughtful, and memorable.
He welcomed our family with such kindness, even letting our two-year-old sit in the plane and take photos (a core memory for all of us), giving us a tour of the school, and making sure we had a warm place to watch. He even invited us to the community potluck happening that week, which just shows the kind of welcoming environment they’ve created.
And most importantly, Malcolm’s dedication to safety was extraordinary. It’s no small thing to trust someone you’ve just met to take your favorite person up in a small plane, but the care, clarity, and professionalism he brought to every part of the safety inspection and briefing made it easy to feel at ease. My husband had an incredible experience, and I knew he was in the best hands.
We will absolutely be back. Thank you, Malcolm, and the entire team, for giving us the best day.
