I just completed three instructional flights in the PT-17 Stearman with Todd. He skillfully created a syllabus and then expertly guided me through the flights to effectively and efficiently achieve my overall goals. Todd’s deep understanding of flight training enabled him to take into account my experience, skill, and capabilities and then effectively personalize the instruction he enthusiastically provided. His pre-flight briefings and post-flight debriefings, using a variety of tools from whiteboard to high tech aviation apps, significantly enhanced my learning and information retention. His superb teaching is supported by a deep well of tailwheel flying experience in an incredibly wide variety of aircraft. His meticulously maintained Stearman is indicative of Todd’s high standards and attention to detail! Simply put, Todd is an outstanding flight instructor.
