I did my instrument training with Steve almost a decade ago. Now, 4,000+ hours of corporate and airline flying later, I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend him as an instructor. If you truly care about being a concientious, safe, and skillful pilot, there’s no better place to start. Do yourself a favor: Skip the bells and whistles (and cost) of glass cockpits and fancy hangars and build a solid foundation for yourself with a patient, knowledgable, and commited instructor. Steve’s about as OG as they get anymore and every minute you fly with him you’ll be learning something valuable.

Steve is a great instructor, and I learned a lot working with him. It look me a while to get my private pilot license, and it didn't come easy. There were a lot of unease I had to overcome and Steve was a tremendous help so I could trust my training and build confidence. I fly on a regular basis now and enjoy every moment of it, thanks to all the great lessons Steve thought me.
