I recently acquired my instrument rating after training at Bismarck Aero Center, and I couldn’t be happier with the experience. The instructors are fantastic—extremely knowledgeable, professional, and always willing to help in any way they can. One thing that really stood out was how easy it was to stay on schedule, thanks to the availability of instructors, especially on calm, clear flying days when it was busiest. The supportive environment and quality of instruction made a huge difference in my training. I’m incredibly grateful for the experience and would highly recommend Bismarck Aero Center to anyone pursuing flight training. In addition, the line crew was incredibly attentive and helpful throughout my training, always making sure everything was ready to go and contributing to the welcoming, professional atmosphere. I’ll see you see you guys again soon when I start my commercial training!

I completed my commercial asel license through Bismark aero. The whole building has a great atmosphere and are willing to help. I completed most of my training with there CSIP Clint but was also met with an outstanding willingness to help from all the other CFIs with grounds and flying in the final weeks leading up to my check ride. Also the line crews customer service and carefulness with my airplane is an absolute standout feature and could not recommend the whole team more.

I had a great experience with Bismarck Aero. I was able to earn my private pilot license in just 2.5 months, and that wouldn’t have been possible without the instruction from Chris. Clint was also a big help explaining how the whole process works and kept everything running smooth! They’re both extremely knowledgeable and genuinely invested in your success. They push you to be better while still making the process enjoyable and efficient. The training was well-structured, professional, and tailored to help me progress quickly without cutting corners. The flight school at Bismarck Aero Center (KBIS) is FANTASTIC and played a vital role in the completion of my private pilot certificate training. I started my training at another airport with another great CFI but she got called up for an ATP job. I was very close to checkride ready but needed a handful of final lessons and some ground school. BAC came to the rescue. My Bismarck CFI, Clint May, provided just what I needed. He is a CSIP (Cirrus Standardized Instructor Pilot) which was required by my insurance for my airplane. I learned a LOT in my final 4-5 lessons with Clint and felt fully prepared for my checkride - which is did pass without any trouble. In addition to the flying lessons and polishing of maneuvers I benefited greatly from several hours of ground school. I was over-prepared for the ground portion of the check ride which gave me great confidence ahead of the stressful examination. And to top it all off, all the folks at BAC were friendly and enthusiastic about helping me achieve my goals. I highly recommend this flight school and particularly CFI Clint. I would have been happy to have had all my training with him and look forward to continuing my aviation education with BAC.
