To start, my son and I picked Blue Horizon Aviation because we love the Cirrus SR20 -- which will give you a high performance rating! My son has a great aptitude for flying and his CFI Joseph has been amazing picking up on that, and challenging him. I feel he is an excellent leader and trainer. Patrick has also, been extremely supportive and wonderful to work with.

I had a blast filling the commercial XC requirements and earning the high performance endorsement with Joseph @ Blue Horizon! Cirrus aircraft are so advanced compared to the 172s I did my initial training on. I'd say I would recommend Blue Horizon to others - but I already have. 🛩️

If you haven't checked out blue horizon, please please do. I can't begin to tell you what a great experience is was. I was blessed to be able to experience my sons first discovery flight with him. By far one of the best experiences I've ever had with my son. He went from weeks of being scared shitless leading up to his flight to after we landed and we were walking back to the terminal, he turned around and stopped...

Love this school! Flying a cirrus is definitely something to get used and once you’re familiar with it you can’t get enough. Avionics package was a shock coming from a Cessna. The instructors are very knowledgeable and able to help you fly a technically advanced powerhouse.
