When I first showed up to start flying with Shawn, I was an active duty Army officer with a pretty hectic schedule. After a few flights with Shawn, I quickly realized that I wanted to pursue making a living out of aviation full-time. He showed me the roadmap of exactly what it was I needed to do, and worked around my schedule to get me both my private pilot certificate, AND my instrument rating while I was still active duty. I'm now a flight instructor (CFI-I) in South Florida, making my way towards working for an airline in the near future. I owe this entirely to Shawn at Ridgeland Flight Training, the unparalleled maintenance support from Dennis, the unique positive experience I got from the very beginning, and every adventure I had and every learning opportunity I received thereafter.
