Ted and the team at TN Flying Machines are awesome. If you are in the area and need support, then go to them. I was impressed with the courteous team and nice interactions. They also have a lot of ventage planes in the area that an aviation geek will just swoon over. Prices are reasonable and no gouging occurs.

Good people running this place! They are always nice to me, and very helpful. Aaron is such a down home country fellow that it never occurs to me just how famous he is. He will sit on the sofa in their day room and shoot the bull with you about airplanes and flying as though you are family. And his son Ted, wow he is a natural as a mechanic. Completely certified as an A&P, you would do well to have him work on your aircraft. He will make sure your aircraft is airworthy, but he won't try to upsell you on something you don't need. I will never take my Piper to anyone else. Plus his rates are quite reasonable as aircraft mechanics go. And I would be remiss if I didn't give a shout out to Ted's helper, Winston what a nice guy. I truly believe that he would give you the shirt off his back,

Copied this from my FB page… We had an amazing afternoon!! Took a flight with country singer Aaron Tippen today. He took us to Burgess, Short Mt., Rock Island and even flew over our house! He and his wife Thea run a hanger in Sparta, which has some beautiful old 2 seater planes. They give tours, and even pilot lessons! What absolute sweet people on top of it. Gave a call yesterday and they had an opening for today! And what a perfect day for it!! Tennessee is such a beautiful state! 💕 Visibility was so clear, we could actually see the Rocky’s up there! That was fun!!💯🛩😁 Also want to add that you can feel the love that he has for Middle Tennessee!! Aaron was an awesome guide with the knowledge, but also gave you moments to take it all in! I believe I smiled that whole hour! (and I’m the one who really didn’t want to go!) Really worth it!!
