Coast Flight Training Dallas

This school operates under Part 61, not Part 141. While they advertise a structured syllabus that resembles Part 141, in practice it is loosely followed and often inconsistent.
I joined Coast through an airline-sponsored academy program. I started flight training with a PPL from Aviator Air at KGPM (now Spartan) in 2020. That experience was excellent and I passed both my written and checkride on the first attempt....

Great school with great people. Coast Flight Training offers a solid program, knowledgeable instructors, and well-maintained aircraft. I’m truly grateful for the opportunity to complete every step of my training here and build the foundation needed to move on to bigger aircraft. The school maintains high standards for safety, aircraft maintenance, and instruction. The environment is professional, supportive, and fast-paced. I did all my flight training at Coast Flight in Dallas and had a great experience. Besides a solid fleet of glass planes and super helpful staff, the location's most redeeming quality is the maintenance team.
