Great school to learn how to fly.
The instructors were incredibly knowledgeable and helped me achieve my goals. The DPE was very happy with what the school taught me as well.

If you are on the edge about which flight school to choose, definitely choose Airplanes and Attitude in McKinney.

Highly recommend reaching out to the team at Airplanes and Attitude to get started on your aviation journey.

Great location at the growing McKinney Airport (KTKI). Growing fleet of great airplanes that are maintained and available. Good tech/avionics in the plane great for learning.

I previously reviewed this flight school but have since updated my thoughts.

In short, this is the best flight school in the McKinney/Dallas area, hands down.

I started my Instrument rating here in early 2023 and progressed quickly. However, life events disrupted my training until early 2024. When I resumed in January of 24', I had to rebuild my proficiency, basically starting from the beginning again.

I cannot recommend this location enough. Jamie reached out to me after I put in an inquiry for some train. I wanted to go in and knock off the rust a little bit on my training before going back up after a 6-month hiatus from flying. I started flying at Airplanes and Attitude in May of 2022 without any knowledge of airplanes. Since then, I have passed 5 check rides without any failures and have become a flight instructor at the school.

It took me 489 days and 60K (through a student loan that the school provides) from Zero to CFI(300 hours). Most big name schools charge twice as much for less flying time (0-250Hrs).
