I had an amazing experience with Upwind Aviation! Kristian is fantastic and is extremely knowledgeable. He made sure I was well prepared and confident for my checkride - which I'm very glad for. I was commuting a distance to Front Royal, but Kristian made it very easy and was very flexible with the schedule. I would absolutely recommend Upwind Aviation to anyone interested in flying!

Kristian is a great flight instructor. I told him in June I needed my PPL before college started and he made sure that happened. We were doing around 3 flight hours a day and he never made it seem like it was too much for him. He prepared me for the oral exam and made me feel confident to pass. He’s not just a great flight instructor but also a great friend.

Kristian really helped me along my pilot journey, he really has a way of calmly explaining things. And a genuinely nice guy, really does it cause he loves it!

The owner of Upwind Aviation is very knowledgeable in aviation. He is extremely dedicated to flight and maintenance of his aircraft. I would recommend anyone interested in becoming a pilot to take lessons at Upwind Aviation in Front Royal. You will be very pleased that you did.

I have had a great experience with Upwind Aviation! I have been working to obtain my PPL with Kristian(The Owner) for a few months now and I have learned so much. Kristian is a very knowledgeable and Passionate instructor who wants the best for his students. If you are interested in flying or are looking for an instructor, I strongly recommend trying out Upwind Aviation.
