I enrolled with ATP because I was passionate about becoming a pilot and was excited to begin training. Unfortunately, my experience did not meet the expectations I had for a professional flight training program. The primary issues I encountered involved the quality of instruction, lack of mentorship, poor communication, harassment with multiple other students and an overall learning environment that often felt unprofessional and unsupportive. As a student making a significant financial investment, I expected a higher level of engagement, guidance, and respect. While I understand that every training center and instructor may be different, my experience ultimately led me to leave the program before completion. I remain passionate about aviation and hope to continue my training in the future, but I believe ATP could improve by placing a greater emphasis on instructor professionalism, student support, and creating a positive learning environment. I am sharing this experience in hopes that future students receive the guidance and support needed to succeed. I would love to have a moment to go into depth with administration of my experiences, however, they will not respond to calls or emails about the situation at hand.
