Aviation Adventures has been instrumental in my journey to earning my fixed wing ratings, and I can’t speak highly enough of the instruction I received—especially from Scott Kelley and Meghan McGilley. While I was unable to finish the program due to time constrains, the instruction I received still reverberates positively through my transition from helicopters to fixed-wing aircraft. Meghan and Scott’s depth of aviation knowledge, calm demeanor, and precise instruction style made every lesson productive and confidence-building. They always emphasized safety and good decision-making, which gave me a solid foundation as a developing pilot. They both brought incredible energy, attention to detail, and a genuine passion for aviation that made every flight both challenging and fun. I consistently would arrive to the FBO with raw excitement knowing the experience that lie ahead. Both Scott and Meghan are not only outstanding instructors, but also exceptional people. Their professionalism, patience, and character set the bar high. I’m truly grateful to have trained under them and would highly recommend Aviation Adventures to anyone pursuing flight training.

Never flew with them but the worst customer service ever. I was a pilot in another country, so I wanted to check with them if they are offering shorter programs. First, I went there in person. The front desk told me that the chef instructor is not here. He took my info and said will pass it to the instructor. One week passed noone called or texted. I called them, and the guy over the phone told me he is there for temporary. He is covering the other guy. Please call later. A couple of days passed, I called them again and the guy remembered me. He told me that he will check the schedule of the instructor and call me back . But again, no one called me back. It doesn't matter if you offer the program I am requesting. What does matter is you being so disrespectful to your costumer, leaving them unanswered for weeks. Not calling back when you say you would.

"After visiting the Leesburg Airport location and having a bad experience, I was reluctant to visit the Aviation Adventures office at the Manassas Airport. However, when I met Andrew at the front desk, his knowledge and professionalism impressed me immediately. I scheduled a Discovery Flight for a few days later. Two hours before the flight, I received a call informing me that they had to cancel due to turbulence in the area. We rescheduled it for the following Monday. The day before, a Flight Instructor called me asking if they could change my flight time to accommodate another student. I explained that I couldn't change the date but could fly a few hours later than the scheduled 9 am time. The instructor agreed and kept my date and time unchanged. On the day of the Discovery Flight, I met Flight Instructor Anna promptly at 9 am. Anna's knowledge, attention to detail, and willingness to educate were top-notch. We went through the pre-flight and before takeoff procedures meticulously. Once airborne, she allowed me to take control and guided me through the maneuvers. Just as smoothly as the takeoff, she landed the plane despite the crosswind. After the flight, she continued to discuss my experience with me at the office before handing me over to Mario at the front desk. Mario helped me with the checkout process and explained how online booking works should I decide to pursue Flight School further. Although I'm not knowledgeable about Flight School planes, the Cessna 172S we flew seemed quite worn. The dashboard material was torn, the door panels were old and stained, and the left tire didn't match the right one (although I didn't mention this). I did note the dry rot inside the treads and some indicators like the "Heading" had a red cross over them and were non-functional. Anna checked the logbook and confirmed these issues were noted in previous flights as well. Overall, I had a fantastic experience at Aviation Adventures. I want to thank Andrew, Mario, and especially my amazing Flight Instructor, Anna!"

This is a fantastic flight school. If you are looking to get quality training, with a decent fleet of aircraft from instructors and a support staff that genuinely have your success in mind…THIS is the place for the DC area.

Great atmosphere, flight instructors and aircrafts. Aviation Adventures runs a safe flight school that is consistent. Their procedures make the learning process easy and safety is their main concern. The variety of aircrafts the school has makes it easy to get on the schedule. The instructors are passionate about you succeeding and hold you to a high standard. Liberty University did a great job partnering with Aviation Adventures. This flight training affiliate is a great choice for Liberty students. I highly recommend this flight school to anyone interested in flying!
