I'm an Instrument rated PPL, and I came to Charleston WV to visit my grandparents. I had no plans to fly out here but I wanted the opportunity to take my grandma up for her first time in a small plane.

The staff here went out of their way to get me checked out to rent their Cessna 172 in Charleston. The process was straightforward, the staff were great, and the plane is well maintained. I couldn't recommend them ...

N2039R made an unscheduled landing here at noon while en route to a funeral in Missouri due to some fuel flow problems. Joe and the crew immediately took our plane, began troubleshooting, and carried out repairs. They stayed late and had us back on our way by 7 pm. We appreciate you guys! Thank you!

Best flight school in the Midwest! The instructors are really patient and help you achieve whatever your goal is in aviation. The management is ran very well and they work with all their students personally. You really feel like you’re a part of a family when you’re at AFS!
