I had a discovery flight this week with Stephen. I loved it. He explained alot to me and made my experience great. This was something I had been wanting to do for a while. I am so glad I did it. Would do this again in heartbeat .

My wife and I scheduled a training/introductory flight with our daughter on June 25, 2004. I was a little surprised when the instructor walked in the door right at 12pm (our session was scheduled from 12pm - 130pm) but, thought to myself that “ it’s OK he has to get ready before things really begin…but things won’t be rushed for our daughter’s experience today.” At 12:14pm, my daughter and instructor were headed outside to the plane to inspect things and for orientation. At 12:38pm the instructor and my daughter were finished with the orientation/inspection and the wheels on the plane were turning. What disappointed me was that the entire flight/experience was over at 1:15pm. My daughter was actually back in the car and we were leaving the airport at 1:17pm. My daughter did enjoy the flight (air time exactly 20 minutes) but, I felt the experience was rushed since it was over at 1:15pm (we were told that Start Time would be 1200pm and End Time would be 1:30pm). Overall, she did enjoy the flight and training. However, I felt things were rushed from the onset and we were deprived 15 minutes of flight time.

Awesome flight school! Very friendly instructors, and a laid back Atmosphere. Pete is the best teacher, very easy to learn from and get along with. If you are at Martinsburg airport or just having lunch at Crosswinds Cafe make sure you stop in and say hey. Dont forget to schedule your discovery flight as well. Well worth it!
