Glossary

What is a TFR?

A published restriction closing a defined block of airspace for a period, for reasons such as a presidential movement, a wildfire, a large sporting event or a disaster response. It is issued as a NOTAM, and flying into an active one draws consequences ranging from a phone call to certificate action.

Also called TFR

That is the whole entry for now. The longer version, with the mechanics and worked examples, is still to be written. See autorotation for how those read once they exist.
