Did a Discovery Flight with them, it was affordable at $105. The folks answering the phone couldn’t answer my questions and seemed unprofessional. My CFI was nice however I was their 3rd or 4th discovery flight ever. They didn’t have me do much and I didn’t learn much. Everyone I met was friendly and I appreciate that however I’m not confident in the quality of education.

Thank you for the people at Land and Sea Aviation for the amazing experience, came all the way from Florida with my family and was looking for a place to do a tour or rent an airplane, we had an amazing time throughout the whole experience, super friendly staff and instructors that made me feel home right away, thanks to William who took really nice care of us in our flight. I would definitely recommend the school and make sure you pet Jinjin while you are there!!! Thanks again.

Recently while visiting the Anchorage area I was delighted to realize a dream I have had since my youth , to pilot a small plane. My research led me to Land & Sea Aviation, and my flight instructor Wella Jay was beyond professional. From the first “hello” to “ready for take off” Wella’s easy going personality created trust immediately throughout my first intro to flight school. A great flight school with great instructors. It's relatively affordable and also offers part 141 training courses in addition to the usual part 61 courses which many flight schools in Anchorage and the valley don't offer. This can save you a bit of money in some cases and also offers another way to learn for your flight ratings. For those looking for a place to time build for their instrument or commercial ratings it's probably the best option as well.

I had a great experience flying with Land and Sea Aviation. We rented a 172 and flew around Denali mountains. Kit Barton, our instructor was awesome. He has great knowledge of the mountains and expertly guided us through the mountains. If anyone is looking to rent an aircraft in Anchorage, this is the place!
