I started my aviation journey at this flight school in 2022 as a student and was fortunate to be hired as a flight instructor in 2024. Having experienced the school from both sides, I can confidently say the training, mentorship, and high standards here played a major role in my success. Chief Flight Instructor Zach Merrill personally trained me for my MEI, and his guidance helped shape me into a better instructor and pilot during my years here. The skills, knowledge, and professionalism I developed as both a student and instructor provided a strong foundation for my transition to the airlines. Im reflecting back on my time at Angel during my airline training and I can say, I’m incredibly grateful for the opportunities and experiences I gained here and would highly recommend this school to anyone pursuing a career in aviation.

Angel Aviation is a breath of fresh air. The planes are in great condition, the instructors and students are happy, and scheduling is easy. I just did 41 hours at the super cheap time building rates in 6 days. Special shout out to Emma, Billy, Robbyn, and Al for being supportive and helpful as I pursued my goals. Take care!

I've recently obtained my CFI at Angel and am working on my CFII and MEI. I've also completed all of my other certs/ratings at Angel and have had a great experience. From instructors to management to DPEs, everyone I've worked with at Angel is professional and motivated. Everyone cares about the success of their students as well as provides great training. I absolutely recommend Angel Aviation.

I’ve done all my training with Angel Aviation. from PPL all the way through CFII/MEI and I couldn’t imagine a better place to learn how to fly. They have helped me every step of the way and turned me into a confident, solid pilot. I’ve had many opportunities and learned so much thanks to this school. The instructors and staff are seriously exceptional. They care about you, your progress, and your future in aviation. They are there to help, open to answering questions, and make sure you’re set up for success. I’ve trained with them in both Alaska and Arizona, and their prices are some of the best you’ll find in either state. Their planes are super well taken care of, and very luxurious compared to your typical training aircraft. Angel Aviation might not be a big, well-known school, but the training I’ve received has been way better than what I’ve heard from people who went to the big-name places. The quality and personal attention here is on another level. If you’re looking for a place to learn how to fly, this is the spot. 10/10 recommend!

I rented a plane with Angel Aviation and also had a check out flight for my FAA piggyback license as I am a CAA private pilot UK based. Angel Aviation is the best company that I have ever dealt with in regards to general Aviation and Flying around the world. Billy Maans checked me out and was a great guy and helped me with everything I needed to know in regards to my first stages of flight in America. The planes are absolutely immaculate and have all the kit you need. There aren’t enough stars in Google to say how good they are. I will definitely be back next year to do some more flying in the US.
