Phil generously donated this flight to a silent auction for a suicide prevention group aimed at helping military members and I very happily won it. This experience did not disappoint. In fact, it exceeded my expectations for excitement and adventure! Phil was very easy to work with to schedule this ride (I live out of town) and it was fantastic to fly with him. I felt very safe throughout the entire experience....

This was a birthday present from my wife which I thoroughly enjoyed because Phil allowed me to do the flying! He not only talked me through it, he told me what I was doing right and wrong in order for me to stay in flight and find the thermals! My first time flying anything and I was truly thrilled to death! I would recommend Soaring Flight Glider Rides with Phil to everyone!

Fantastic flights in the Grob 109B motorglider!

I flew with Phil on two consecutive days. The first day was a self-launch endorsement and checkout on the Grob. Phil is a very experienced instructor and tailored the instruction to my needs and experience. We also had fun soaring up to cloudbase! The next day we made a fantastic soaring tour to the south, with lots of great scenery!

This was an exhilarating adventure, an incredible experience soaring above the mountains with the hawks and looking down on the city from 10,000 feet. Phil is a flight instructor who lets you fly the glider! He instills confidence and creates a lively, fun event. Views will blow you away. Phil is a Certified Flight Instructor and will let you take the controls. Very cool to shut the engine off and glide around Tucson.
