Im a private pilot and I had the opportunity to do a discovery flight with Shawn. He took me through the complex airspace around the SF Bay Area, and all the fun sights. He’s a very competent instructor, and quizzed me along the way. His Cessna 172 flies beautifully, is clean, and well equipped and maintained. If I lived locally, I would have no problem sending students his way.

Thoroughly enjoyed my flight with Shawn! Our trip was unique way to see the area, and such a positive experience. I’d give 6 ⭐️ , if I could. Seeing the SF Bay Area, Oakland, Alcatraz, the green hills without the traffic was stunning. He’s safe, and easy to converse with. I asked a ton of questions and he was knowledgeable and kind to answer all of them. Fantastic experience!

Took a discovery flight with Shawn and honestly wasn’t sure what to expect, but it exceeded what I was hoping for. He walked me through everything before we even got in the plane. I got to taxi to the runway and help with take off. Once we were up in the air he let me take the controls for a bit which was a dream come true. Super knowledgeable, easy to talk to, and I never felt like I was in anything but good hands.

I flew with Shawn earlier today and it was fantastic. He was a great instructor walking me through every aspect of the pre-flight checks that need to happen and safety process before we took off. He allowed me to taxi on the runway and help with the takeoff. Once we were in the air, he did a great job of helping me to understand what each of the controls did and allowed me to fly. We had a fantastic trip!
