I wanted to share my experience regarding my interaction with the team. During a call about my account, after I asked several questions, Susan abruptly said "bye bye bye bye," making it clear that she wasn’t interested in helping me. Her tone and choice of words left me feeling unwelcome and uncomfortable. Additionally, I have concerns about Chief CFI Richard. It appears he selects his students based on personal preference, typically favoring women. I've flown with him several times, and on each occasion, he would round up the time. Despite the fact the time he spent on our lesson fell short of the full hour, he still charged for a complete block, which feels exploitative and unfair to his students. I also had an interaction with CFI Gabriel, who came across as quite rude. Overall, these experiences left me disappointed and uneasy.

Very rude and disrespectful management that trickles down from the top. Especially Susan. Didn’t have any patience for questions and had a very unprofessional approach to aviation. Not people you’d like to be around nor teach you how to fly. Like everybody else on here, I’d recommend learning elsewhere, plenty of MUCH better options.

During my time as a club member, I had a pretty negative experience with two individuals at the flight school, Chief Richard and Manager Susan. Their poor attitudes really left a bad impression on me.

This school is absolutely AWFUL. The planes are over 40 years old, and the price is just not worth it—way too high for what you’re getting. Don't risk your life and money. The managers are so rude and seem to care more about money than actually running a good school. It’s not a solid place to learn. I would never recommend this school, and I suggest you check out other, much better flight schools nearby. The stage oral and flight checks are a joke—they’re shallow, unprofessional, and barely even test your knowledge.

My advice is to stay away from this place and their decrepit old planes. You can tell by the sound that something isn’t right…I pray no one gets hurt. I don’t know how they are so busy, seems like they only want to take you up super early in the morning or late at night in the dark and stay close to LGB airport. Would be much better to fly over the ocean or some local mountains, there is just not much to see in this area (aside from golf courses.) This experience is a hard pass for me.
