Parker Thomas was a joy to work with from start to finish. His clear communication style made every step from booking and scheduling, to planning and arriving an absolute breeze. He was patient and reassuring with my 13yo who came for her first discovery flight. We took off from OAK, flew Northwest over the Bay Bridge and Golden Gate before heading down the coast to touch & go at Half Moon Bay airport before heading back across the bottom of the peninsula to OAK. 10/10, can't wait to fly with him again!

Patrick is a wonderful instructor and pilot . He’s a CSIP and has been instructing me in my cirrus sr22t He’s always on time with a positive attitude . Keeps a perfect balance of professionalism and fun . I look forward to our lessons and or missions . He has a fleet of planes including an sr22t and a couple pipers . I’ve worked with 4 other instructors and Pat has ability to adapt and teach to a wide range of skills . Thank you Pat & East bay flight !

I recently took an introductory flight with East Bay Flight and loved it. I met with Patrick at Signature Flight Support at the Oakland Airport, the whole process was easy and felt very professional. We spent close to one hour on the ground talking about my goals and doing an introductory ground school session. After that, we spent about one hour in the air and I did most of the flying, except for the final part of the landing. We flew over the Golden Gate Bridge, the weather was beautiful with super clear skies, we could see all the way to the Farallon Islands! We then went to the North Bay (San Pablo Bay) and practiced some turns and slow flight maneuvers and returned to KOAK flying above Berkeley. The whole thing went way too fast, I would have liked to continue flying. Once on the ground, we finished the session with 30 minutes of debriefing in the lounge of Signature Flight Support. Patrick comes across as a very nice guy, calm, very knowledgeable and reassuring; he made the whole experience truly enjoyable. I would highly recommend East Bay Flight for anyone interested in learning more about general aviation or just for the pleasure of seeing the Bay Area from the sky.

Excellent instruction by Pat. Experienced pilot and Instructor in the East Bay, out of Oakland airport. Methodical teaching with good ground instructions, flight planning and flights. His pre and post flight reviews are valuable. As you progress, you will get more room to plan the flights and review them after. He will guide you through the whole process. Ground instructions are through Google meet and convenient. As you progress he will give you feedback and the initial close guidance is gradually loosened to allow more independent decision making and flying. He will inform you on areas of weakness and plans to improve. Flights are based out of Signature terminal, and the overall experience is great. The Piper Archer is well equipped.
