I have had the pleasure of flying with Aerodynamic Aviation for a number of years. From my perspective, it's a choice for people exploring general aviation as well as experienced aviators. The friendly and helpful staff go out of their way to ensure everyone feels welcome and supported. This includes the front desk staff who help schedule flight, the flight instructors that help the students become more capable pilots, and the mechanics that keep the large fleet of aircraft airworthy. The owners are actively engaged in developing a position aviation community. They host events and lead flying trips that foster an environment where pilots at all level can learn from each other.

SCAM ALERT! I paid SICILY GIUSTINO/PERRY $309 to reserve a flight lesson for January 24th, 2025. She cancelled the lesson Jan 21, 2025, and for months repeatedly told us the plane still needed maintenance and wasn't available. When I finally asked for a refund, she said she would, but then stopped responding to my efforts to arrange a time to pick up the money. Upon finally reaching her, she said too much time had passed (less than a year) and she repeatedly told us she would not provide a refund. When I said that not refunding my money would result in small claims court and a bad review, she said my response says more about me than her (manipulative). We are pursuing small claims court against her in trying to re-coop our funds. I will remove the review if she refunds our money without the trouble of small claims court. Save yourself time, money and a headache and find yourself a trustworthy instructor!

I had an amazing introductory flight lesson! From start to finish, the experience was smooth, exciting, and unforgettable. A huge shout-out to my instructor, Chirag Chaudhary, who made the entire lesson fun, safe, and easy to understand. His calm teaching style, deep knowledge, and passion for aviation really stood out. He explained everything clearly and let me take the controls sooner than I expected, which was incredible! If you're thinking about flying for the first time, I highly recommend booking with Chirag. Truly a 5-star experience!

The less-expensive option at KRHV and the one with a few older Taildraggers, Aerodynamic is a popular club with mediocre offerings and a DIY-vibe. Unleaded AVFuel is self-pump available via truck right at the club and the maintenance team is acceptable. In recent years the club has adopted a less flexible and more expensive set of options. Taildraggers are now capped at 3hr time limits. $300/annual has increased to $600/annual ($50/mo.) All longer rentals and overnight require review/approval from the owners Jen & Josh who are approachable. I had some early Aerobatic instruction here on 7KCAB (aircraft no longer available) and also flew the "Sportstar" here (aircraft no longer available). Owner Leaseback options exist and reviews that I have heard are "mediocre" in terms of holding renters accountable for minor scuffs and damage. Would neither recommend nor steer folks away from this historic club. (was started from Amelia Reid Aviation - a legend. Many of the Taildraggers harken back to this period)

Hands-down Aerodynamic aviation is a great school to get your pilot license, rent a plane, or have a bay tour. Great owners, front desk staff, awesome instructors, and maintenance folks. Also, one of the least expensive prices in the Bay Area. The school has a very positive dynamic always improving itself in all areas. Below, one can find more details. The school is a great fit for future Commercial Pilots who need 250 hours and don't want to pay through the nose for it. A global rule for receiving your pilot license: be prepared for these four items - correct estimations, money, time, and commitment. As for estimations, for the Private Pilot license, expect 90 plus hours here, any timeless is for those exceptional few. If 45-60 hours are within your time frame, I would go for the Sport license. The school is pretty strict and for good reasons, so they have some extra internal stages. If you have any concerns, contact the Chief Instructor Jen. She does a great job addressing any issue and cares a lot about the school. I would also recommend you find an instructor who is an enthusiast and loves flying on top of gaining hours for ATP.
