First and foremost the CFIs are great. They get the star. They know what a bad experience the other issues are for pilots in training and hate it as much as we do. But after keeping record for 4 months, nearly 70% of flights were cancelled due to maintenance issues. We scheduled 12 flights over 3 weeks to make a push for my son's PPL. He flew twice; he canceled once. All others were cancelled within 24 hours of scheduled flight. Often due to 100 hour maintenance that can be tracked and projected with the least bit of proper management. Very poorly managed outfit in our experience.

In 2026 I finally made a promise to myself to get back into general aviation and stay current. My mission was to share this passion with my family. I called around APA to find a safe flying club/school with a reputable maintenance program. Our best experience by far was connecting with Centennial Flyers. Our worst experience was the odd sales pitch (corporate timeshare vibes) we got from Independence Aviation along with their outrageous prices and hidden fees. Needless to say, I got checked out and have rented N3434T on numerous occasions. This is by far the nicest Cirrus SR22T I’ve flown. It even has Starlink and Sirius XM radio which is nice for long flights. Very happy with my decision to join Centennial Flyers. They are an ethical organization with the best prices I’ve seen in Colorado.

I trained for and earned my Private Pilots License here at Centennial Flyers. I had a great experience: The prices are the lowest around, the aircraft are maintained in good condition, and the instructors and club admin are very knowledgeable and pleasant to work with. I am now friends with the owner and he is a very nice guy who definitely does everything he can to save the members of the club money and make the experience as good as it can be. This includes having a lounge inside the airport terminal with free sodas in a mini fridge and a nice flight planning/meeting space for all the members, and complimentary golf carts to drive out to the planes. I would HIGHLY recommend this club for friendly and knowledgeable people, a wide selection of very nice and well maintained aircraft, and the most affordable rates around.

I bought a Discovery Package for my Husband's birthday as a surprise. It was a wonderful experience for the both of us (I got to fly for free). Steve Purcell was our pilot and he was just as friendly and professional as could be. We will be booking more flights with him, I am sure!
