Polk State outsources their flight training to Sunrise Aviation. If you want to get an idea what Sunrise Aviation is like, just look at the reviews for their KOMN location. Same company; same instructors. My first impression was not the greatest as far as flight schools go, but it wasn't terrible either, until it was. Very professional, helpful, and understanding. Trained part 141 though to commercial and honestly couldn't see it any other way.

I had the best experience at Sunrise Aviation. This school helped me though every step of my training to get me where I am at now in my career as a corporate pilot! Sunrise Aviation is a family atmosphere and they genuinely are there to help you succeed at becoming a safe and professional pilot.

Went in for a discovery flight to determine wether or not I would like to start training with polk state. It was a great experience and I look forward to working/learning with Sunrise Aviation and Polk State in the near future.
