I recently did my Commercial Multi-engine Add-on with MFT. I chose to do the accelerated 141 course as I was busy in between work and a move. The material they send you is necessary for success as well as studying the maneuver profiles. Andrew Sterna was my primary instructor and was fantastic. He was very knowledgable and set me up to succeed through the course. I also had a positive experience with the check airmen and the Chief/Assistant Chief during stage checks and the end of course examination. Objective and want you to excel. Overall, fast paced but still a very fun and rewarding experience. If you get a choice, Andrew Sterna is a great instructor and pilot that would would not regret training with.

I have absolutely loved my experience so far with Melbourne Flight Training. The dispatch team with Amina, Astrid, Trenton, and others go above and beyond to keep everything running smoothly and connect with students to encourage our progress. Every instructor I have flown with so far has been wonderful, always teaching me new things and going out of their way to help me succeed. My primary instructor, Brian, is phenomenal and I really appreciate all of his support in training me to be a confident and safe pilot. I cannot wait to continue in this program.

My time at MFT has been a pleasant experience. I began as a Part 61 student in mid December and am now preparing for my end of course evaluation. The level of professionalism and quality of training I’ve received have exceeded my expectations. Dustin has been an exceptional instructor and mentor, he consistently goes above and beyond to ensure my success. The dispatch team has also been incredible. Anytime I’ve had a question or scheduling conflict, Amina, Olivia, Savannah, Astrid, Jim, and Trenton have been quick to help and always found a solution. Their efficiency and support have made the entire process smooth and stress free

Really great experience at Melbourne Flight Training. I was able to go from my PPL all the way through CFII here, and I’m honestly really happy I chose this school. My instructor Paul was awesome. He is easy to learn from and really cares about you becoming a good, safe pilot. The environment at the school is great. There are always instructors around willing to help, which made a big difference for me. I’d definitely recommend it to anyone looking to start or continue their training.
