I have never come across such a poorly run flight school throughout my training till date - and I’ve worked with a bunch getting up to the ratings I have now. Sunrise was single handedly the worst place especially as an international student. They complicate things for you intentionally so you can’t just leave. The management makes sure that you hate your time there.

If it wasn’t for my MEI Ahmed and the flexibility of the dispatch desk 1 star would be too high. I work full time m-f. So when I toured the campus with the vp of training I made sure he knew I could do some evenings but mainly weekends. No body informed me until I registered that they were closed sundays.

I went to the Lakeland Campus and they did a fantastic job. They have great fleet of 172s, very well maintained, reliable and plenty of availability. In 70-80 flights I don't think I had a single cancel due to maintenance. If there was a problem with a plane they would swap me right away. I did instrument and commercial with them. Currently a student through the Polk State Program and I have nothing but positive things to say. The instructors know their stuff and are always willing to answer a question (I have lots of questions) Best of all is the dispatch team led by Ryan, very accommodating and patient. Very good when it comes to pairing students with the right instructors. Thank you and keep up the great work!
