I just got my PPL through Mendes Aviation and I have no complaints. My instructors are great people who do a very thorough job and keep flying fun and safe the whole time. I wouldn’t have wanted to train with anyone else.

If you’re looking to start your aviation journey, go with Mendes Aviation!!! Darren makes every lesson feel comfortable, productive, and safe. He explains concepts clearly, keeps a calm presence in the cockpit, and truly cares about his students and their progress, ensuring timeliness but also that your knowledge and confidence is there. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience!!

I couldn’t have completed my training without Mr. Mendes. He made flying feel natural and comfortable. His ground instruction is easy to digest, yet knowledgeable. He shows great professionalism and conveys extensive experience in his field. I happily recommend Mr. Mendes to any aspiring or current pilot.

Darren has been my instructor since the beginning of my aviation journey. I started at 17 years old going into my senior year of high school and now I’m going into college with my Private Pilot License. Darren has always supported me from happy birthday texts to just checking up on me. Darren is more then a instructor he’s a leader and a mentor in the cockpit.
