If you are thinking about taking an aviation program at Avel flight school,,, that is going to be one of your worst decisions that you con make,,, Just trust me if you really want to become a pilot this school is going to make that almost impossible,,, My best advice go to another flight school before signing in whit this guys,,, there is another one on the other side of the airport,,, And they also offer student visas,,, So don’t make my mistakes 1 signing in whit Avel Flight school 2 don’t get enough information From my point of view this school must be closed since along time ago,,, Waisting of time Wasting of money And you will never become a pilot,,, Believe me,,, I have to change from school And find out that the program of Abel flight school is designed for you to lose money, take years,, and you won’t learn nothing,,, I hope that you don’t have to learn this the hard way Thanks for reading and share this so people can’t make the same mistake,,,, ONE video is what you will always have todo at Abel flight school get there and they are gonna tell you that the airplane is in maintenance or that the weather is bad for flying and you will have to go home,,, You might think or they might tell you that this just happens during bad weather but believe me even during summer they don’t have instructors,,, don’t have mechanics,,, That’s why even de students perform the maintenance to the airplanes,,,,, And the other video is going to show you what you really do in another flight school where they have good programs,,, So watch out there is really really bad aviation schools out there but definitely the worst one and I don’t even know why are they still open is AVEL FLIGHT SCHOOL,,, Thanks,.,,

I had an extremely disappointing experience. I purchased a Groupon certificate about a year and a half ago, and I still haven’t been able to use it. I scheduled a class more than seven times, and each time it was canceled on the same day. Most of the classes were planned between 10 a.m. and 1 p.m., so I had to wake up early, prepare, and call myself—only to be told that the weather was “not safe to fly.” While I appreciate the concern for safety, I find it hard to believe this was the case for all seven attempts. When I emailed to request a refund, I never received a response, and when I called, no one answered.

Instructors are great, management not. This message sent to students by the school's manager should tell you everything you need to know (apart from it being illegal): """ Dear Students, This is a reminder that English is the only language to be spoken at Avel Flight School — at all times, in all settings. English is the universal language of aviation, and both FAA and ICAO regulations require all pilots and aviation professionals to read, write, understand, and speak English fluently. Speaking in any other language while at the school, in class, during briefings, or in any group setting is not acceptable. It can be disrespectful and exclusionary to others who do not understand the language, and it also goes against the professional standards expected in aviation. It is the school policy that all students must adhere to this rule at all times: The only language to be spoken at the school, including during classes, briefings, and on the ramp, is English. Violations of this policy will result in disciplinary action, including expulsion from class and being charged a no-show fee. This policy is in place to ensure professionalism, inclusivity, and compliance with aviation standards. We expect everyone to uphold it without exception. My experience with Avel Flight school as an international student has been phenomenal .I was enrolled in the commercial flight training program and got all my licenses right from the initial private pilot till commercial pilot license. The ground school training is well structured , which gives a thorough understanding of both theoretical and practical skills .This builds a foundation for understanding the concepts . The staff is exceptionally professional and supportive, creating a welcoming and encouraging learning environment. Moreover, the school places a significant emphasis on flight safety. I had an amazing opportunity to learn from the best flight instructors throughout my course. I re-enrolled in this school for the Aircraft dispatcher course because of their outstanding success rate and the school is committed to ensuring that the students acquire the necessary skills and knowledge to clear the exams. It has been excellent with Avel. I completed my private to commercial training at Avel. As an international student, the school provided me with the support, encouragement, and motivation I needed. I had a great time flying and studying there. The instructors were friendly and supportive, always ready to teach whenever I had a doubt. During my training, I also learned about the Aircraft Dispatcher course and enrolled in it, successfully completing the program. Because it has been so positive with Avel, I decided to enroll in their flight instructor course as well. Avel has not disappointed me with the flight instructor program; it's going really well. I would strongly recommend this school for anyone aspiring to become a pilot, particularly international student wanting to come and fly in the US.
