I would highly recommend Orlandi Flight Center for flight training. I trained here for my private pilot certificate and was very satisfied with the overall experience. Geoff and Vince Orlandi run the training in a very efficient, organized, safe and cost-effective manner. The CFIs I worked with (Matt, Jonathan, Jase, Peter and Emrah) were excellent. Very knowledgeable and enjoyable to fly with. They have a large and varied fleet of planes and there is a mechanic on-site which definitely comes in handy. I was well prepared for my knowledge, oral and flight tests. Definitely give it a try.

I recently earned my Private Pilot License with Orlandi Flight Center in Blairstown, NJ, and I couldn’t be happier with my experience. The instructors were knowledgeable, patient, professional, and truly invested in helping me become a safe and confident pilot. From day one, the environment was welcoming and encouraging, and the quality of training was excellent throughout the entire process. The team made learning enjoyable while still maintaining high standards and strong attention to safety. I’m incredibly grateful for everything they poured into my training and would highly recommend Orlandi Flight Center to anyone considering flight training or pursuing their aviation goals. In the near future, I look forward to continuing my training and working toward my Instrument Rating with them as well!

I’ve trained and passed my ATP MEL with OFC - the professionalism of the staff and my flight instructor Vince was on part with the most sophisticated of operations in the flight training business yet with a small town airport feel to it. The Wings Cafe made the atmosphere that much more pleasant and the food was a delight. Appreciate all of the efforts made to accommodate my challenging schedule and the Feb - March weather. Truely a gem of an operation.

I contacted Orlandi Flight Center for a High Performance endorsement, and from the first phone call it was clear this place operates at a higher level than most flight schools. I initially spoke with Geoff and we had a great conversation right off the bat. He was professional, knowledgeable, and genuinely interested in what I was looking to accomplish as a pilot. The communication throughout the process was excellent. Responsive, organized, and easy to work with. That alone puts them ahead of many operations. Flying with Geoff was an outstanding experience. The instruction was professional, clear, and actually enjoyable. What stood out most is that the instructors here are truly focused on teaching. They’re not just trying to log hours or push students through a system. You can tell they take pride in developing capable pilots. This isn’t a churn-and-burn training environment or a typical “flight school factory.” The team at Orlandi cares about who you are as a pilot and what you’re trying to achieve. They expect you to work hard, but in return you receive serious instruction, respect, and a lot of value from the experience. This is absolutely a place worth visiting. Professional operation, excellent instructors, and a great overall experience. Highly recommended.

Recently received my PPL through here, instructors were all amazing and worked with each other to help me finish in a timely manner. Every instructor was knowledgeable, patient, and willing to step in and help whenever needed. Their teamwork and genuine investment in my success made training both smooth and enjoyable. The aircraft were well maintained, the instruction was top-notch, and the welcoming atmosphere made it a place I always looked forward to going. I highly recommend this school to anyone looking to learn to fly — they truly go above and beyond for their students.
