Hi-Tech Helicopters has been an excellent flight school. Phil is the ultimate professional, who is really dedicated to teaching people to fly. He is a great instructor and is excellent at not only communicating, but at transferring knowledge in such a way that the student can both grasp it and put it into action.

I've been using one of the instructors here (Phil) for primary flight instruction and flight reviews for about 5 years now. He's a professional educator and advocate for safe aviation with a broad and diverse certificates, ratings, both as a pilot and a mechanic. Always responsive, and a great aviation mentor. I would highly recommend using Phil as a flight instructor.

I was relatively nervous about flying and flying helicopters in general, but I found Hi-Tech helicopters after investigating a few other helicopter training operations and wasn't completely happy with them. I was very pleased with this operation, however. But what made my decision easy was my instructor, Phil! Your instructor is the most important decision. Phil is so informative and immediately put me at ease before, during, and after all the flights. He has an incredible amount of knowledge inside his head and is an incredible instructor. I couldn't recommend him more. I will be coming back again and again until I have my license.

The instruction, facilities, and helicopters at Hi Tech are absolutely amazing. If you’re wanting to go about your license and are looking for instruction, this is the place to go. Phil Polstra has been super helpful for me throughout my training! He is super knowledgeable and is always helping you become a better pilot in the cockpit and on the ground. His passion for teaching is phenomenal and makes you excited to continue your journey. When I went to the Hi Tech Helicopters facility for ground training, I met some of the instructors there and they were all very welcoming and kind. Hi Tech Helicopters is the best place to go to in order to learn, be successful, and most importantly, be safe. Blue skies!
