You learn 10x more here than any other flight schools. I passed my private here. Ilan is a very strict instructor, and that can be intense at times, but it is also exactly why training with him prepares students well for a checkride. His standards are higher than the minimum, and that pushes you to fly more precisely, think more clearly, and take safety seriously. He is genuinely focused on teaching. He does not just sit there and watch you fly. He gives very specific feedback, teaches practical techniques, and is always thinking ahead about safety, risk, and “what if” scenarios. He teaches me to stay ahead of the aircraft and ahead of the situation. That mindset helped me a lot. He is funny, which helps balance out how demanding he is.
