Ocean Breeze is a great place to learn to fly. Charlie is a great instructor and has a C172 for rent. The Elizabeth City airfield has a control tower provided by the USCG.

This is a great family owned company! It’s very clear that it’s not about the money for them, it is all about teaching you to be a safe aviator not just someone that can pull on controls. If you have the chance to learn even a small portion of what Charlie has to teach I highly encourage you to take the chance!

If you want to learn how to fly an airplane Charlie is definitely your man. He's not only the cfi but also the owner with a lifetime of experience. I was hesitant at first with it being a small/new flight school but after taking discovery flights at larger schools i signed up with Charlie after our first flight. Charlie is a true professional and a wealth of knowledge. Take it for me I’ve tried other flight schools,
Where alot of instructors are only there to log hours, Or you will deal with different instructors every time you go to fly. Charlie will give you that one on one attention and when you take flight by yourself you’ll be confident that you’re more than 100% prepared for any situation that happens. Highly Recommend
