They helped me find the right DA40 for my budget and mission, and provided valuable insight on tax, insurance, and maintenance matters. Beyond purchase, I knew I could rely on their expertise regarding the aircraft if any challenges arose. When it came time to sell my DA40 after hundreds of flight hours as my family grew and mission evolved, there was no doubt that working with LifeStyle on the sale would be the right choice. Absolutely horrific experience. I’ve done business with at least a dozen aircraft brokers and LifeStyle Aviation is the worst. I signed a contract to buy two new aircraft and needed to cancel shortly thereafter, giving LifeStyle a year and a half notification period before the aircraft were due to be delivered. The owner of LifeStyle Aviation committed to return some of the funds, but I have been unable to reach him since then. The aircraft were sold to other parties in advance of the aircraft being assembled at the factory. Lifestyle is not out any money and is taking advantage of the situation. My situation is not unique. I’ve heard similar horror stories about working with LifeStyle, including aircraft being misrepresented yet not returning the deposit money after an aircraft inspection demonstrated the problems and LifeStyle misrepresenting what territories they cover in order to get an aircraft sale. Truly a shady business. There are many respectable aircraft brokers out there. Save yourself the stress and work with a better company.
