I had an excellent experience at Crosswind Flight Academy, working on a Flight Review with Bruce Ingwall in his Diamond DA40. The atmosphere there was friendly and helpful—genuinely positive. And being close to I-40, KSVH was easy to access. I highly recommend CFA!

I’ve been with crosswinds for over a year and successfully credited 4 licenses with them and couldn’t recommend the instructors, mechanics, planes, and now new classroom more highly. Preventative maintenance has been always been very thorough and with on site mechanics the planes have never been down long. KSVH even has a new FBO now that makes them an even bigger and brighter aviation hub full of connections. Highly recommend!!!

I recently completed my instrument training at CFA, and I am currently progressing towards my commercial. I have had a very pleasant experience thus far. Ben Barbour, the owner, is always responsive and excited to help students. Their planes are also kept in great shape, with safety via quality maintenance being a top priority. My instructor, Bruce Ingwall, has been fantastic as well. He owns the Diamond at CFA, so he is well versed in his plane and he also has a high standard for excellence. I would definitely recommend CFA to others!
