I learned how to fly here in winter of 2021. I can say with confidence I do not regret that decision. This school teaches you how to be independent and make good judgement when flying. If you enjoy a “mom n pop” feel this is the place for you!

Great experience with Gorge winds getting my PPL. Planes are great, relatively affordable and availability is very reasonable when compared to other schools. I started in another school but was unhappy when they had rapid increases in rental prices and instructors nickel and diming every minute. You won’t find that in Gorge winds.

I did my multi-engine addon here in the C310R. Delcy was a great mentor and led me to success on my first checkride attempt! Followed by plenty of time spent flying, $100 hamburgers, and more. I can’t recommend GWA more.

If you want get flight training , here is where you should go . Reasonable price , Professional , skilled flight instructor. With Delcy’s leadership. You can’t find another flight school can be better than Gorge Winds around Portland.
