I had my discovery flight yesterday with Hayley and it was one of the best experiences of my life! Hayley was such a thorough, supportive and kind instructor (I can’t emphasize enough how great she was) which alleviated my innate fear of flying. If you are considering booking a discovery flight I cannot recommend High Flight Academy enough. Thanks to that unique experience (where you are actually able to fly the plane) and my great instructor, I will be enrolling and pursuing a private pilots license!

My friend and I took a discovery flight here, and it was an unforgettable experience. Our instructor, Hayley Stein, was extremely friendly, knowledgeable, patient, and enthusiastic. She walked us through the pre-flight inspection, explained the aircraft controls and basics, and created a safe, supportive environment to actually maneuver the plane. Truly a 10/10 experience—highly recommend! Beginner tip: If it’s your very first flight in a Cessna sized aircraft, avoid eating for a couple of hours beforehand, and have a ginger ale or ginger beer (both non-alcoholic) handy to help with motion sickness.

My instructor Markus was absolutely amazing. His professionalism, knowledge, and experience is truly unparalleled compared to other flight schools and instructors. I believe this is the best flight school by far. Could not imagine flying anywhere else!

I stopped by multiple flight schools in the area, and specifically chose High Flight because of a few reasons; great relationship with CCBC college, their amazing availabilities to accommodate student pilots, and large choice of flight instructor's. They can do part 61 and or part 141. For all of Private Pilot, IFR, Commercial Pilot, recency, and their chief instructor is full of brilliant knowledge. If your ready for 7 days a week, or even just a discovery Flight... I highly recommend High Flight ✈️.

My son had interest in learning to fly so we scheduled time for an hour lesson based upon a friend’s recommendation. Cameron was my son’s instructor and he did an incredible job communicating and instructing about flying—my son learned so much! This was an amazing experience and he loves the idea of being a pilot even more. Scheduling this lesson, having questions answered beforehand and during the flight, and then arriving to the location was all easy and pleasant. If you have the opportunity and desire to learn, I highly recommend High Flight Academy! So grateful to have learned about this place!
