Pittsburgh Pilot Training is an awesome flight school run by a bunch of real pilots who love what they do. Some of the instructors work in the airline industry while others have worked various jobs in aviation and they all bring unique experiences that meet the students needs in all areas on all levels. If you plan to achieve a rating or obtain a license, this place teaches you and prepares you for a successful check ride. The process is right. The instructors are excellent at what they do. Modern avionics are present in all craft so that pilots can develop the procedures they will use to have spatial awareness and safely navigate. Can’t thank all the instructors enough for what they have given me. This is the place that I have obtained my PPL and have had nothing but positive experiences in my journey. I’ve flown with every instructor here and every one is excellent. The planes are awesome! I’ve seen engines replaced just so they stay low hours and avionics upgraded and the maintenance is top notch. I’m so glad that I chose Pittsburgh Pilot Training and I’m thankful to the entire team!

Pittsburgh Pilot Training is really the best flight school in the Pittsburgh area! I just passed my instrument checkride and couldn’t have done it without the amazing knowledge and support of all the instructors, if I had to start my flight training over again 10 times I’d pick them every time no questions asked!

I had an amazing time here at Finleyville for my pilot training. I completed my PPL and half way through my IFR training so far. But I will say from my experience so far, the instructors are extremely welcoming and take their time to ensure that you understand the material and provide the inputs while flying to make you really feel comfortable flying. As well as they are rigorous in making sure all the aircraft are inspected and are in great condition to fly.

I’ve been to my fair share of both small and large flight school operations. This place has a special place in my heart. Jordan and his team are industry professionals who truly care about their students progression. Flexible scheduling, knowledgeable staff, and specialized one on one training. This flight school is 1 of 1 in the best ways possible. Do yourself a favor and make this the flight school you train at. It’s been one of the best decisions I’ve made.

What can I say about Pittsburgh Pilot Training? From my discovery flight to my commercial training I have enjoyed every moment. The instructors are not only a wealth of knowledge and support but they also individualize your training to make it fun and adventurous. No matter what your flying goals are they care about your safety and success and the planes are well maintained. There is something special about this program.
