I cannot say enough good things about Pivotal Aviation and the impact they have had on my aviation journey. Over the past year and a half, Pivotal Aviation has provided me with an outstanding training experience that ultimately helped me achieve one of the biggest goals of my life: earning my Private Pilot Certificate. From day one, I was welcomed into an environment that was professional, supportive, and genuinely focused on helping all students succeed of all financial backgrounds! A huge part of my success is thanks to my instructor, Lauren. Throughout my training, Lauren demonstrated incredible patience, professionalism, and dedication. Flight training can be challenging at times, and there were certainly moments where I doubted myself, but Lauren always found a way to build my confidence, answer my questions, and push me to become a safer and more capable pilot. She never just taught me how to pass a checkride she taught me how to think like a pilot. What stood out most about Pivotal Aviation was the quality of instruction and the genuine care the staff showed toward their students. Every lesson felt purposeful, every instructor interaction I had during stage checks was positive, and the school consistently maintained a culture of safety, learning, and professionalism. To Lauren and everyone at Pivotal Aviation, thank you for your guidance, encouragement, and belief in me throughout this journey. I would wholeheartedly recommend Pivotal Aviation to anyone considering flight training, whether you’re taking your first discovery flight or pursuing advanced ratings.

I recently earned my Private Pilot License through Pivotal Aviation, and I couldn’t be happier with the experience. Cody Greer is my CFI and he has been very professional, knowledgeable, and genuinely invested in helping me succeed since the very first day! He was very patient and made sure I understood each lesson whether that was ground lessons or in the air. The scheduling is also very flexible which helped me a lot through my training. I highly recommend Pivotal Aviation to anyone considering flight training! I will for sure be staying and will soon start training for my Instrument Rating!

Pivotal Aviation really pulled through for me when I needed to get my CSEL finished up. Lauren is a great CFII who really takes stock in her student's learning and proficiency. The Cessna 172 is the nicest in the upstate with state of the art avionics and the 150 is a great economical option as well.

I could not be more grateful for the group of wonderful instructors at Pivotal Aviation. Since my first flight last June, I was able to gain so many unique insights and skills from each instructor at this school. I am especially grateful for my primary instructor, Rhianna, who is the most supportive and knowledgeable instructor. I could not have imagined completing my Private Pilot License with any other school; there is truly such a supportive and kind group of individuals over there. Pivotal's curriculum kept me on track the entire way with each lesson having a purpose. Financially, Pivotal offered great prices and structure, helping me finish my license within my anticipated budget while working full-time. Additionally, Spartanburg Downtown Memorial Airport fostered a phenomenal learning environment for a new aviator - busy enough to challenge you, but not in a complicated airspace for gaining that confidence in the pattern and on the radio. I am looking forward to working on my Instrument Rating with Pivotal in the upcoming months!

Pivotal Aviation has walked me through every step of my private pilot training, and it has been a journey. I am jumping right into instrument and staying with Pivotal Aviation. I have worked with Cody Greer⭐️ primarily and he has been a great teacher and mentor through my training thus far. Lauren Bizerra and Benjamin Griswold have also helped in other aspects along my training. All three of the CFI's I have worked with have been very supportive and helpful. Pivotal has created a great environment for learning having fun and most importantly keeping it safe. They break all information down to it's simplest form and build from there they are respectful and professional people and I plan to stick with them for any further education. I live 2 hours away in charlotte and it is worth the commute for their program.
