Ratings complete! My take on the ATP environment. Just wrapped up my ratings at ATP and wanted to share some love for the team. We’ve all heard how intense flight school can be, but the vibe here was top-notch. Management was approachable, the instructors actually cared about our progress, and the camaraderie among students kept us all going. If you're worried about the "pilot mill" atmosphere you hear about online, my experience here was the exact opposite—very positive and professional

A friend was training there. They are an so so good school but they aren’t t really interested in the student’s success. It’s a pass if you can attitude and no second chances. Specially the instructor exams. My friend didn’t pass his mock test for cfi and they wouldn’t give him a chance correct and then take the practical test. Isn’t a mock test designed to catch deficiencies? Then correct and then take the flight test. This isn’t mentoring or teaching. This is pass if you can, we don’t care attitude. It’s a pilot meat grinder. No time to get caught up with peoples futures. Look elsewhere if you’re not a tech robot with a photographic memory.

ATP MQY is a great flight school. Everyone there is helpful and wants the best for one another. Everyone has the same goal, so you’re around likeminded individuals which makes it a friendly learning environment.

From consistent instruction and scheduling along with up-to-date avionics/glass cockpits, ATP has everything that I was expecting from a Flight school. I suggest that anyone with sincere aviation goals consider ATP flight training.
