I recently completed my Commercial Multi-Engine Add-On rating with Flying High Again, and the experience exceeded my expectations. I am an atypical student. A "2nd career" 50+ year old candidate whose previous professional endeavors were spent managing businesses, teams, and operations. I pay close attention to culture, leadership, safety, and execution. Flying High Again impressed me in all four areas. Owner John has built a first-class operation with a strong commitment to safety, professionalism, and student success. The quality of the internal maintenance program and overall condition of the aircraft gave me confidence from day one. My instructor, Kris T., was outstanding. He was knowledgeable, patient, highly prepared, and genuinely invested in helping me become a better multi-engine pilot, not just pass a checkride. Chief Pilot & DPE Phil is the secret weapon. Over 40 years in aviation, UPS MD-11 captain, A&P... he brings tremendous experience and professionalism to the organization. But above that is the character, mentorship and passion that he shares with everyone. If you're considering multi-engine training, I highly recommend Flying High Again. Great people, excellent instruction, strong safety culture, and a first-class training experience.

I attended a recent multi engine rating class and it far exceeded my expectations. From the minute I arrived I new I was in the right place. Very nice fleet of aircraft especially with regard to the Diamond Stars. The Diamond is an extremely nice aircraft. There maintenance is top notch as well. All the instructors are consistently trained by the Chief pilot Phil Kuitems. Which makes for a very well designed syllabus. There’s really not many schools quite like this program! Training is very thorough and consistent. If you want great training in all aspects of aviation it’s the place to be!

I completed my commercial multi-engine check ride at Flying High Again, and I couldn’t be more impressed. As a retired former Special Operations helicopter pilot, I can honestly say they made the transition to airplanes incredibly smooth for me, and I truly appreciate the way they guided me through the process. The instructors were outstanding, knowledgeable, professional, and genuinely invested in my success. The staff was great and made everything seamless from start to finish. All in all, the entire experience was top-notch. I give them five stars all the way across the board for everything they are doing down there. I would highly recommend this school to any veterans seeking their airplane ratings.

Wonderful experience training at Flying High Again in Smyrna, TN. I completed my commercial Multi Engine training here, traveled from California in order to achieve this goal. Flying High Again exceeded my expectations. The team is fantastic, very friendly, supportive, great lesson plans, teaching strategies and flight instruction. Safety is a high priority they strive for. What they provide at this flight school is top notch, the price is unbeatable, they have quality aircraft, quality maintenance. The experience they provide is one I would highly recommend to my friends, and others. Flying High Again truly encompasses what it means to be a great flight school.

If you are looking for a flight school, please do your self a favor and give then a try. They will become your family and they will treat with respect and treat you like you are one of their own. Because thats what happens when you joing this operation.... great people, great planes, great maintenance, great instructors, and even though its a business, it doesnt feel like it, they actually care about your progress and they will never try to stall you in order to make more money out of your training. In other words, you aren't just a number, you are a future pilot and they want you to become the safest pilot you can be while being really good at it. Thanks guys! I will definitely see you again when I continue my IFR training in a few months!
