I had a great experience at the flight academy getting my PPL. The instructors are very professional, patient and safety focused. They have a solid fleet of aircraft to pick from and they are all very well maintained. I will definitely be going back to TFA to get my instrument rating. Highly recommended!

I must give a HUGE shoutout to everyone I worked with at The Flight Academy. My initial Cirrus transition training began 10/14, then straight into their IFR program, and taking my oral/flight exam on 11/14. Hands down the best to work with! A new world has opened up because of them, and I couldn’t be more excited. Thank you The Flight Academy!!

I earned both my Private Pilot License and Instrument Rating through The Flight Academy, and after trying multiple flight schools, TFA truly stands apart. First and foremost, the people. The instructors and staff are exceptionally knowledgeable, not just in aviation, but specifically with Cirrus aircraft. Their ability to clearly and confidently answer both situational and technical questions was outstanding and gave me tremendous confidence throughout my training. Second, TFA’s training program is extremely well structured. Unlike other schools that tend to “wing it” and waste time, TFA has a thoughtfully developed curriculum for both ground and flight training. Every day is outlined with a clear path all the way to earning your PPL or Instrument Rating, which makes the process efficient, focused, and respectful of your time and investment. Their professionalism, positive energy, and constant encouragement made the experience not only enjoyable but genuinely transformative. I came out a better, more confident pilot because of it. Huge thank you to the entire team, and a special shout-out to Landon, simply the best.

Excellent flight training, truly THE Cirrus Training Experts! I completed their 21 day nothing to PPL course and passed my check ride all inside 6 weeks, then rolled right on to my Instrument course. That took another 14 days over 3 weeks with a checkride passed first time at the end. Price agreed up front, books and materials provided - I did my part and they did theirs. Flying around the Pacific Northwest was breathtaking. Highly recommend.
