Glossary

What is a flight review?

A session with a flight instructor, part on the ground and part in the air, that a certificated pilot must complete every 24 calendar months in order to keep acting as pilot in command. There is no pass or fail: the instructor signs the logbook once the review is complete.

Also called Biennial flight review, BFR

That is the whole entry for now. The longer version, with the mechanics and worked examples, is still to be written. See autorotation for how those read once they exist.
