I was failing my courses during the spring due to my father's slow decline as he fought brain cancer. Pray you never have to experience what that looks like. He eventually died and I had reached out to the board for leniency given my circumstances. The fact that I cared to even reach out at all given the circumstances was a small miracle on my part, but I knew my dad would have wanted me to try and salvage my academic progress. I was basically told that while my situation was sympathetic, I had "done the wrong thing for the right reasons" by failing my courses. There was no sympathy and I was ultimately punished for grieving his loss. I'm inclined to believe the school simply wanted to keep my GI bill money, hence their decision. I sincerely hope karma does not put those who made the decision go through what I had to. As inhuman as the decision was, nobody should have to see their parents go through what I did.

I started going here back in 2024 and it has just proceeded to get worse and worse. Limited faculty and resources to help students, and what resources are available, it's do it yourself or all online. No more walk-ins to get anything done (ONLY ON MONDAYS). Hours to do not coincide with other college campus like ASU. Response times for just about anything with admissions or student services, can take weeks to hear back. I'm kind of disappointed with my last semester here honestly. This place fell off hard. Loved my teachers tho and most of them have extremely helpful.

I’ve been going to this college for awhile now and at this point I am not happy because 1. Everytime I try to sign up for a class suddenly I’m told that class isn’t covered by financial aid despite me speaking over the phone and asking twice if it was covered and they said yes and also I checked my degree progress not once but four times now and according to that the courses I chose should’ve been fine and the times they tell me what course isn’t covered by financial aid they don’t specify which one. 2. Everytime there’s something wrong with my financial aid so I have to fill out something everytime or I don’t get it. 3. The times I do get a hold of someone they hang up on me not once but two times. So yeah good luck you’re gonna need it.

✨CGCC is a very beautiful community college lemme start there , I recently got a tour of the grounds, and everyone was very kind, nice and welcoming. I’m definitely taking my next step to further my education goals here✨

I go to the satelite campus and so far I'm far from impressed. I visited this campus to conduct business and was surprised how beautiful the campus was! The architecture is amazing. However staff I dealt with seemed unwilling to help. I was a student at EMCC 5 years ago and this campus is a joke compared to them.
